Hi,

My name is Ryan Sargent, I am a 14 year old 8th grader at Westfield Community School in Algonquin, IL. In one year I will be attending Jacobs High school and playing for the Golden Eagles, an up an coming baseball program in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I currently play for the 14U Illinois Diamond Owlz which is a Nationally Ranked Elite Travel Team and for the 15U Chicago Select when I am not in an Owlz Uniform. My Goal is to receive a college education and play baseball at the highest level!

I began playing travel baseball in 2007 at the age of 10. I have primarily played shortstop, centerfielder, and right-handed pitcher all those years. In addition to playing for Illinois Diamond Owlz and Chicago Select in 2010 I played for the Algonquin Storm from 2007 through 2010. I have received numerous team and tournament MVP awards during my travel baseball career. In 2010 while playing for the Algonquin Storm I received an all tournament team award during the International MCYSA/USSSA tournament. I also have been invited to particitpate in showcase events such as the Chicago Elite Showcase, the USSSA Elite Showcase, and the NTIS National Selection Showcase.
